Part One: Luke 4:28-29 tells us that on a certain sabbath, men of the synagogue of Nazareth hated Yeshua’s (Jesus’) words so much that they sought to kill him by throwing him down over the brow of the hill on which their city was built. John 1:46 tells us that Phillip said to Nathanael, “Can any good come out of Nazareth?” Where was this first-century Galilean town? Tradition tells us it’s in the hills overlooking the Jezreel Valley. A private investigator and forensics expert does not accept the tradition. His years of deeply studying a lot of biblical, archaeological, geographical, and historical evidence points directly to the zealot-stronghold mountain of Gamla as the town of Nazareth, where Yeshua grew up; and likely, the “mountain” from where he taught the Matthew chapter 5 “Beatitudes.” Listen and learn about Gamla as Netzeret of the Galilee.
Part Two: Luke 4:28-29 speaks about Nazareth as a city set on a hill with a cliff or brow. John 1:46 tells us that Phillip said to Nathanael, “Can any good come out of Nazareth?” Where was this first-century Galilean town? Tradition tells us it’s in the hills overlooking the Jezreel Valley. A private investigator and forensics expert has dedicated a lot of time studying biblical, archaeological, geographical, and historical evidence that points him directly to the zealot-stronghold mountain of Gamla near the Sea of Galilee as the town where Yeshua grew up – Nazareth; and likely, the “mountain” from where he taught the “Beatitudes” of Matthew chapter 5.
